Goals:            Algebra or Geometry Review

Location:            3188 Southern Blvd. SE, Rio Rancho, NM 87124  (between Golf Course & Sara)

Program Descriptions:

• Step One:
  • Take Algebra or Geometry assessment test
• Step Two:
  • Tutors teach Algebra or Geometry strand-by-strand
  • Supplemented by
    • Paper and pencil exercises
    • CAI (Computer Aided Instruction) lessons for certain advanced concepts
• Step Three:
  • Take post-assessment test to ascertain
    • fully master the math course content according to US national standard
    • revisit any math strands missed or need further work on

Expected Results:

• Students fully master Algebra or Geometry summer math camp course
• Students build solid foundation for Algebra II or higher math

 Program Schedule (Starts June 2 and ends June 27):

• 2 hours per day; noon to 2:00pm
• 3 days per week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday)
•  Target total 24 hours for complete program
•  Students with less skill gaps may achieve proficiency in as few as 2 weeks

Cost³:   $149.00/student/week^1,2

                $596.00/student for the 4 week program (certain students may take less than 4 weeks)

• Fee includes all tutoring, curriculum, tests, homework assignments, and supply

2. Students commit a minimum 2 weeks block.
3. May apply for financial aid via local non-profit. Limited availability.
